Halogen Pendant Light Not Working

I have two pendant lights on the same switch.
Halogen pendant light not working. They are low voltage 12v 50w mr16 halogen lights. Some older homes may not have enough voltage to illuminate newer halogen lamp models fully resulting in less than optimum illumination. Is this something i could replace. It s not the bulbs i tried changing them all.
The socket can be oxidized corroded or burned which can prevent an electrical connection with the bulb. If the lamp does not light then the transformer needs to be replaced. Check that the halogen lamp is plugged into a reliable electrical outlet. Use a cloth or wear gloves when handling the bulb to avoid contact with skin.

Just an fyi i work at a lighting store that sells a very similiar pendant. These are the second set as i had the same problem with each light at different times a few months ago and replaced them.
Check that the halogen lamp s voltage rating matches the rating in your home. Flickering or occasionally dimming of the light may point to unreliable wiring or poor circuitry in the outlet. Every customer i have who buys one i always recommend either wearing rubber gloves to replace or hold. Never handle the glass of the lamp with bare hands.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn t. The lamp s rating is typically stamped on its box or the base of the lamp stand. Halogen lights not working. It doesn t seem to matter if the fixture is.
The oils from the skin that would be left on the lamp will result in early lamp failure. I have a row of 3 halogen lights in my kitchen off a single fixture which have stopped working. Test the bulb s in known a working lamp to determine if they are good. Several factors can cause a halogen light fixture to not function. The oils in your fingers cause cold spots on the bulb and causes it to burn out way before it s time.
If unable to test by swapping assume the lamp is good. One of the fixtures has once again started to act up. Would this be a fault with the transformer. Lights burn out quickly or burn very brightly.
